Education. We continue to be
the leading source of education on telecom matters. Whether we are educating our legislators,
regulators or the public, or providing key updates and training to our members,
ICA stands at the forefront in being the voice of Iowa’s rural industry.
Knowledge Transfer. The Alliance Communicator is the most comprehensive industry newsletter that turns information
from a wide variety of sources into knowledge you can use. Alliance members regularly receive a "Pencil it In” newsletter advising of
current educational opportunities from Alliance and outside sources and a TelePAC Quarterly that keeps members
current on political matters.
New Technologies. For those interested in up-to-the-minute
information from Alliance events, the Capitol and other industry sources, Alliance is
very active with blogs, Facebook posts and Twitter Updates.
Advocacy. The Alliance is your most aggressive, proactive
advocate to promote positive changes on your behalf. We all know many threats face our industry –
federal and state regulators favoring policies that discriminate against small
business and rural customers; competitive carriers failing to pay their fair
share for the use of your networks; property tax policies unfairly penalizing small
telecom providers. The list goes on. We are there taking the lead for you.
