Call for Proposals: 2025 CyberCon Summit

Iowa Communications Alliance is seeking proposals for dynamic, impactful, and educational presentations that would be valuable to ICA members.  If your company is interested in participating in the conference, please review the information below.

Topic Ideas Include (but are not limited to):

  • Cybersecurity Planning and Risk Management: Includes incident response planning, testing, and updates; risk assessments; and building Board of Directors support for cybersecurity programs.
  • Emerging Cybersecurity Threats and Defense: Covers AI in cybersecurity, ransomware preparedness, and addressing IoT device security in telecom networks.
  • Frameworks, Compliance, and Metrics: Includes NIST Cybersecurity Framework, regulatory compliance strategies, and measuring cybersecurity performance (KPIs).
  • Cloud and Zero Trust Security: Data protection, and implementing Zero Trust architecture.
  • Supply Chain and Vendor Security: Explores cybersecurity supply chain risk management (C-SCRM) and assessing vendor security.
  • Cyber Insurance and Financial Impacts: Discusses the financial implications of breaches, insurance trends, and prioritizing investments based on risk assessments.
  • Employee Training and Awareness: Addresses phishing defense, social engineering awareness, and cybersecurity policies for remote or hybrid workforces.
  • Real-World Applications: Includes real-life stories of cyberattacks, crisis communication strategies, and lessons learned.
  • Innovative Technologies and Future Trends: Explores SBOMs, quantum computing, and the integration of physical and cybersecurity measures.
