Outside Plant Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Install, repair, and maintain Phone services, Fiber Optic circuits/cabling, Fixed Wireless network equipment, IPTV equipment, Coaxial cable plant/equipment, and customer owned equipment.
• Completes service orders, trouble-tickets, and general service issues.
• Splice, terminate, and maintain fiber-optic, ethernet, and coaxial cable.
• Maintain Cable Plant records when required.
• Locate underground cable plant when needed.
• Must be flexible in ability and mindset to handle all aspects of Farmtel Communications Business.
• May require overtime/on call, possibility of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of technical school or related work experience in Telecommunications/Information Technology preferred.

Driver's license required.
