At Imperium, our business development team doesn’t just sell, we help maximize our customers’ business efficiency through technology. As an Account Executive, you will grow a career by building relationships and delivering IT solutions to customers in business, government, education and healthcare nationwide.

We train to replace and are invested in your success, so you will spend the first 3 months in paid training where you’ll learn the basics of IT network hardware, our partners, and most importantly, how to speak knowledgably about our solutions, drive sales through client-relationships, and create success for yourself and our company.

IDN’s Account Executives are the people driving the IT industry. Everyday you’ll communicate directly with a variety of IT decision makers and business professionals. You’ll help them improve their technology infrastructure and deliver results. You’ll form long-lasting relationships, make friends, and help them celebrate successes, big and small.

You will have a direct hand in building the future through technology and you’ll have a lot of fun along the way.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Prospect for potential/recurring business by contacting targeted decision makers.
  • Provide sales expertise to potential customers, via telephone & email
  • Regularly find and call prospective companies and contacts
· Close new business by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Identify new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and continually maintaining a pipeline for new business
· Facilitate Sales Orders to the Operations Team and the rest of the development team, who work will work diligently to meet and exceed clients’ expectations.
  • Participate as a collaborative member of a sales team and sales territory
  • Participate in sales contests and attend sales and product training as required.
  • Provide customer feedback and industry information to sales management and leadership teams

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have an Associate Degree.
  • In lieu of degree must have two years of sales experience in a quota bearing position
  • Ideally have one year of sales experience in a quota bearing position.
  • Proven self-starter with motivated attitude to grow professionally.
  • Proven success in a competitive environment preferred.
  • Self-disciplined, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Successful cold-calling experience a plus
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail, appreciation of deadlines and commitment to follow-up is essential.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Must be very comfortable using the telephone for sales activity.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Confirmation that you are not bound by any contractual agreements that restrict your ability to perform your duties for Imperium Data Networks
