Nestled along the Shellrock River surrounded by sprawling countryside is Nora Springs, IA the headquarters of OmniTel Communications - an innovative fiber optic powered internet and digital voice provider for residential and business customers in over thirty communities throughout Iowa.
Due to continued growth and innovation, we are looking for someone with initiative, passion, and a willingness to dive-in to deliver solutions that mix people, process, and technology. This role entails a blend of new business development, qualification of opportunities, strategic business planning, and relationship management in a people-centric but technological rich environment. Here’s how you will contribute:
  • Develop effective business development plans to ensure revenue target delivery and balanced growth.
  • Facilitate sales strategies to broaden our customer base and increase penetration of existing customers.
  • Develop strong relationships in new and existing customers that drive strategy and growth.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with key technology partners that are critical to OmniTel’s success.
  • Manage the delivery of various projects including the integration of new products/services; coordinating activities of teams and contractors/vendors, and identify resources needed to meet project requirements (on-time and on-budget).
  • Participate in strategy and roadmap discussions with internal and external stakeholders to provide input and assessment of technology trends in the marketplace to help the team better identify customer needs with technological capabilities resulting in customer satisfaction and increased profitability.
  • Lead analysis to understand business performance metrics, key performance indicators and forecast management.
  • Conduct extensive research to develop a comprehensive understanding of new products, services, technologies, trends, and other drivers that influence customer behavior.
  • Model leadership and service behaviors that support our people-first culture.
