HOURS: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday–Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION: Partner Communications Cooperative is looking to fulfill the position of Accounting Manager. This position will be based in our Gilman, Iowa business office. Qualified candidates must possess an accounting degree or equivalent experience in the telecommunications industry. Our normal office hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The accounting manager will attend monthly board meetings to present the current financials to the board. Those meetings generally take place on the 3rd Monday of every month beginning at 7 p.m. 

Overview:
 •  Process, monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements.
 •  Establish and enforce proper accounting methods and policies.
 •  Coordinate and complete annual audits
 •  Perform and assign projects to ensure compliance and accuracy.
 •  Establish and maintain fiscal and regulatory files and records to meet document retention requirements.
Some Responsibilities:
 •  Perform and manage the daily operations of the accounting dept. including – Month, Quarter, and Year end process.
 •  General Ledger
 •  Financial reports created and analyzed
 •  Payroll and Employee Benefits
 •  Accounts Payable / Receivable
 •  Cash accounts / Bank reconciliations
 •  Regulatory Reporting – data gathering, tracking due dates, certifications
 •  Tax Reporting – Payroll, Sales, Use, Excise, W-2, and 1099
 •  Assets and Property records
 •  Inventories and invoicing customers
 •  Cash forecasting
 •  Debt activity – as needed
