CM Tech is expanding high-quality broadband across southern Iowa, and we’re looking for a mission-driven Service Operations Manager to lead the teams who make it happen. This role oversees team leads and technicians across three service areas in a six-county region, ensuring fast, reliable installation and repair of broadband, telephone, video, and IT services for the rural communities we serve.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support field service teams responsible for bringing high-speed broadband to rural homes, farms, and businesses.
  • Oversee installations, repairs, and service quality for broadband, phone, video, and IT offerings.
  • Ensure technicians are trained, equipped, and following industry-leading safety and service standards.
  • Work closely with engineering, customer service, and network operations to deliver an exceptional customer/member experience.
  • Help CM Tech fulfill its mission of expanding reliable connectivity that supports education, healthcare, precision agriculture, small businesses, and quality of life across rural Iowa.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of customer-facing or field service experience (telecom preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple communities.
  • Solid knowledge of broadband/telecom technologies or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurability required.
