This two-day event brings together cybersecurity experts, industry leaders, and peers to share best practices, real-life case studies, and the latest tools and strategies to protect your networks and communities.
Call for Proposals
We are seeking proposals for timely educational presentations that would be valuable to ICA members.
As CyberCon is now in its 11th year, we are looking for presentations that will include intermediate level content for our general sessions and non-technical tracks. We are looking for deep-dive level content for our technical track. Please provide specific details in all proposal submissions as to how your presentation would deliver these levels of content.
Topic Ideas Include (but are not limited to):
- Emerging Cybersecurity Threats and Defense: Covers AI in cybersecurity, ransomware preparedness, physical security, social engineering threats, need for continuous monitoring and testing
- Real-World Applications: Includes real-life stories of cyberattacks and use of in-house cyber labs for testing.
- Open-Source Tools being used in CyberSecurity
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- AI Readiness - From Policy to Practice
- Cybersecurity Planning and Risk Management: Includes incident response planning, testing, and updates; risk assessments; and building Board of Directors support for cybersecurity programs
- Frameworks, Compliance, and Metrics: Includes NIST Cybersecurity Framework, regulatory compliance strategies, and measuring cybersecurity performance (KPIs).
- Supply Chain and Vendor Security: Explores cybersecurity supply chain risk management (C-SCRM) and assessing vendor security.
- Cyber Insurance and Financial Impacts: Discusses the financial implications of breaches, insurance trends, and prioritizing investments based on risk assessments.
- Employee Training and Awareness: Addresses phishing defense, social engineering awareness, and how to help your customers stay safe.
Other topics that would be a good fit for the audience are also welcome. If you have a different topic to submit, don't hesitate to do so.
Proposals are due by January 30, 2026.
