Telecom Technician I will primarily be installing and troubleshooting MTC’s voice, video, data, and wireless services. Technician is expected to be customer focused and have a service provider mentality to minimize service outages. Must have initiative to use resources available to solve unique customer trouble reports.
- Conduct locates of buried fiber optical cables, perform maintenance & splicing as needed
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor with excellent listening, verbal and written skills, especially when dealing with customers
- Work well with others to achieve common goals and to foster a cooperative climate, as well as works independently in the field with little supervision
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with on call rotation
SALARY: $17 - $30/hr – dependent on experience
